A Dream Come True
Several years ago I was invited by one of my daughters to go to Athens Greece with her. She had two young children and since her husband couldn't accompany her she asked if I would like to go. Never in my wildest dreams did I think such a dream as this would ever come true. But needless to say, as you can see, it did.
I look forward each year to returning to visit the family and friends that I have made over the years. Zoe has become my "sister" that I never had. We share so much laughter, talks over our coffee, our shopping trips...I could go on and on, but only she can understand how much it means to me and how much I thank her for having me in her home each year. Efxaristo, Zoe as well as to the father and mother who make me feel like family.

I have two sites of pictures but am going to update all into this one as i can. There are two years of pictures that I lost but managed to get some from my daughter that was there at the time. You will find scenes, friends just a mixture that caught my eye in the pictures on this site. Hope you enjoy them. Please if you are Greek and notice I have misspelled something or you recognize a location, email me and let me know. I have to admit I am not good at spelling Greek words....and my pronouncing the words are just as bad...lol

To the right is the picture of the Mother & Father of the family I have come to know and love. Katina speaks very little English......I taught her "Hi ya'll" ...and of course Mississippi. My lack of Greek and hers of English has never bothered us. We still manage to have our coffee together or have shopped at market. My first trip in 2000 Takis made sure i saw all the history and even made me a DVD of every day I was there. I thank them for having a part in my beginning journey.
